Option 2: Obtain missing prerequisites through the CMA Accelerated Program

The CMA Accelerated Program (AP) is an intensive 22-week program that allows you to get the prerequisites you need to write the CMA Entrance Exam in less time than it would take to finish the courses at a post-secondary institute.  More information 


You should apply if: 

• you have a recognized degree from a post-secondary institution
  
• you earned 60 per cent or higher in the four CMA prerequisite studies: Introductory Management Accounting, Introductory Financial Accounting, Economics and Statistics
• you are a CMA Associate and submitted your transcripts for review

  Program Schedule
  
  The Accelerated Program is offered twice a year:
  
• in fall, leading up to the June Entrance Exam
  
• in winter (tentative winter 2012 schedule), leading up to the October Entrance Exam

CMA Alberta also offers an extended winter intake (tentative Winter 2012 schedule) with classes offered over 15 months, leading to the June 2013 Entrance Exam.
