CMA Accredited Programs The accreditation process recognizes universities that achieve high standards of instruction in management accounting. Consequently, graduates from a CMA Canada Accredited University Program are exempt from writing the CMA Entrance Exam. Students will have three years from the date of approval from CMA Alberta to move forward with exemption and enter directly into the Strategic Leadership Program. Graduates of an accredited program with a major in accounting, a minimum overall grade point average of 75 per cent and a minimum of 60 per cent in each of the prerequisite courses will be exempt from writing the CMA Entrance Exam. Instead, they will enter directly into the Strategic Leadership Program, the hallmark of the CMA designation. Recognized CMA Canada accredited degree and MBA programs in Alberta
