
Step 3: CMA Entrance Examination The objective of the CMA Entrance Examination is to test that Candidates have the required competency in technical accounting and can demonstrate a thorough understanding of strategy and management. Upon successful completion of the Entrance Exam, candidates proceed into one of four CMA professional programs: CMA Strategic Leadership Program, CMA for MBA, CMA/MBA Combined Program, or the CMA Executive Program. The Entrance Exam is held twice each year, in mid-June and mid-October. The exam is four hours in duration and is comprised of approximately 100-120 multiple-choice questions. The pass mark for the exam is 60%. ** Note: If you have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution within the last year and have not enrolled in the Accelerated Program or attempted to write the Entrance Exam before, you are eligible for the new grad rate. are planning to write the October exam, be sure to register no later than this date. The Entrance Exam

There are different rates for the Entrance Exam. Please pick the category below that best
describes you:
Newgraduates:Students who have graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution within a year as of June 15, 2010, have not enrolled in the CMA Accelerated Program, and have not previously attempted to write the Entrance Exam are eligible for the new grad rate of $665 plus GST. To get the new grad rate, you must fill out the Entrance Exam registration form. Entrance Exam re-writes: Students who are attempting the Entrance Exam for a second or third time are eligible to receive a discounted rate of $285 plus GST. To receive the re-write rate, please fill out the Entrance Exam registration form. Accredited Program graduates: Students
who graduate from an accredited post-secondary program and
complete all 16 CMA prerequisite courses, with a minimum grade of 60% in each course and a
cumulative GPA of 75% or better, are exempt from writing the CMA Entrance Exam and are eligible to
