Entrance Exam Prep Program
All students who register for the Entrance Exam will be enrolled in the CMA Entrance Exam Preparation
Program. The preparation course focuses on the technical components of the exam – financial accounting,
management accounting, tax and finance – to help students achieve success on the CMA Entrance Exam. In
addition, the program will teach students multiple choice exam writing strategies and techniques.
The program includes:
- a seminar on the format of the CMA Entrance Exam, creating a study plan and multiple choice examination
strategies;
- five technical review seminars, covering the major topics as described in the CMA Entrance Examination
syllabus;
- two simulated Entrance Exams;
- practice multiple choice questions for self-study;
- a CMA Entrance Exam study manual (technical review notes plus problems and solutions); and
- an IFRS supplement manual*
The CMA preparation program is offered in class in Edmonton and Calgary. A distance learning option
is also available via online video streaming.
*materials for the Entrance Exam Preparation Program will not be available until March 2010. All students
registered for the exam will be notified when the materials are available to be picked up.
Program dates and details
The Entrance Exam Preparation Program occurs on Saturdays or Sundays, beginning on August 14/15 and
ending on October 2/3. You will have the option to select either the Saturday or Sunday class when you
