Strategic Leadership Program application and practical experience requirement

Candidates who have successfully completed the National Entrance Exam are eligible to apply for the Strategic Leadership Program. You must fill out the SLP application form and complete the online practical experience form and send your application form to the CMA Alberta office.

Download the SLP Winter 2011 Application. Deadline for SLP Winter 2011 applications is November 23, 2011. The application must be signed and can be submitted to our office via mail or scanned and submitted via e-mail to applications@cma-alberta.com . If you are e-mailing the application, please ensure that in the subject line, you indicate “SLP Application Winter 2011”.

Practical experience requirement
The CMA training will shape you to become a strategic management professional, capable of leading successful enterprises. Complementing the CMA training, you will achieve a minimum of 24 months of relevant, full-time or equivalent, progressive practical experience concurrent with your chosen CMA professional program. This integration of on-the-job experience and education ensures you will be able to apply management principles and operational knowledge in a real-world environment, thereby honing your decision-making and leadership capabilities.

All candidates applying for the SLP must submit their practical experience form online. CMA Alberta will no longer be accepting practical experience forms that are mailed, faxed or emailed to the office.
