Calgary and Area CMAs in Public Practice

The mission of the Calgary and Area CMAs in Public Practice is to provide a mutually supportive environment in which every member promotes a professional and ethical approach which fosters an enhanced image for all CMAs in Public Practice.  The group holds monthly meetings in all months except in April, July and August.  Meetings include discussions of current hot topics and guest speaker presentations on a variety of topics relevant to Public Practice Accounting.

Our meetings are held at Bridgeland Riverside Community Centre (917 Centre Avenue NE) on the third Wednesday of each month starting at 4 p.m. sharp and ending at approximately 5:45 p.m.  
 
The topics for the upcoming meetings are as follows:
February 16, 2011 – Preparing for the Bank:  What small businesses
need to negotiate financing from the bank
March 16, 2011 – Family Breakdown:  Tax and Legal Issues to address
May 18, 2011 – Intergeneration Land Transfer and Current Farm Tax Issues
June 15, 2011 – Technology for Public Practice:  CCH; Jade; e-courier; remote login
