Edmonton Chapter Message from the Chair On behalf of the CMA Alberta Edmonton Chapter Executive, I would like to welcome Edmonton-area CMAs, associates and candidates to another exciting and informative year of events. It is the Executive’s intention to make this an impactful year by attracting interesting and informative speakers for our luncheons. Our signature fall event, CMA Night Out, will be an entertaining and interesting event as well as an ideal venue to network with fellow CMAs. Our signature spring event, CMA Golf Tournament, will continue to be an excellent value where fellow CMAs can enjoy a day away from the office. We encourage you to bring colleagues, peers and team to our events, as many of our initiatives have a broad business message. In the past, we have used your suggestions to improve our events; therefore, we encourage you to continue to offer your feedback. The Edmonton Chapter is recognized as being a well-run, self-sufficient chapter led by dedicated CMA volunteers that want to further the profile of CMAs across all business sectors. This year we have a strong Executive with CMAs from public practice and consulting services to construction and oil and gas. I would like to welcome Kim Tom, Sophia Robinson, Priti Laderoute, and Allison Henning. This year’s retiring members, Lyle Bhargava (Past Chair), Jennifer Trew (Communications) and Linda Winter (Secretary), leave our Executive in a stronger state, directly attributed to their hard work and dedication.
